Northwest Wreck Dives

Caution:  Northwest Wreck Diving can be addictive.

Charter Operators

Emerald Sea Scuba, LLCThere are a couple of very good, safe charter operators in the Pacific Northwest.  There are even a few that specialize in wreck and technical charters.  We have had very good luck with Mike Ferguson's Porthole Dive Charters.   The Dash makes a great Lake Washington tech/wreck dive boat.  The Mark V is a super stable dive platform for those rougher areas, like diving the Andalusia in Neah Bay.

Jeff Carr on the Dive Bum in Lake WashingtonScott Boyd is also a very experienced Charter Boat Captain and his boat (the Dive Bum) is a well known fixture at many of our local wreck sites.  The boat is equipped with Side Scan Sonar, a sturdy dive ladder and a comfy diesel heater.  It was also the platform used to locate most of the wrecks in Northwest Wreck Dives.

Scott and the Dive Bum will be featured in an upcoming episode of the Travel Channel show Forbidden Access - Seattle.  Check it out in August or September.

Bandito ChartersIf you're interested in some recreational wreck dives in Central Puget Sound or in the San Juan Islands, Rick Myers' Bandito Charters runs one of the best charter operations in Puget Sound.

Several of the dive shops north of Seattle run regular wreck diving charters to several of our local wrecks using other operators.  Be sure to check in with your local dive shop to see what opportunities they might have to visit our spectacular Northwest Wrecks.
